You know, it's sometimes really difficult to think about being accepting of Claire's desire to go back to Philly for school, while I'm here... I know it's what she really wants, but I also don't understand how it is necesarry to do it that way. She's got it in her head that "normal" is starting in the fall and only taking 4 years to complete at 1

Pat's felt the same way, actually about my going back to Philly for school.

He never quite was able to explain why he felt the way he did, which caused me a lot of stress, but I read your entry to him and he said that pretty much hits it on the nose.

I can tell from reading your entries that you truly love Claire. I hope that you both are able to compromise this situation. She knows how much you love her. Maybe she'll see things your way.
