She's finding it much easier to find fantasy than SF. I recently sat down with my spinning wheel and actually learned how to use it. I could spin with a drop spindle, but spinning on a wheel is like patting your tummy and rubbing your head. Last night was an adventure all around. I was trying to make dinner for the boys in anticipation of my going out for the evening. Most of the time, I understand Younger Son pretty well. Younger Son is Aspie and so am I, to a slightly lesser degree. Like clockwork, as soon as I am eligible to serve I get a summons. Three years and 11 days after my last jury duty experience, I get to do it again. I've been summonsed regularly since I first registered to vote in 1988. Sometimes for the State of Massachusetts, and sometimes Federal.
