i have some serious problems with my kitchen. sometimes when it rains outside, for no reason it starts to rain inside as well!!!. 
over the last few years a few building companies tried to help us fixing the problem. they all had their own vision on what was the problem and most of the time it did help for a period of time until it started again.

i am still under the weather so instead of working I sit at home trying to do something useful. Which isn't easy as i really don't feel well so any attempt to do something useful is too much right now.
So..i call my best friend, usually we are good for 2 hour long talks on the phone, she is free today so.... something to do at last ( Read more... )

Kevelaer is sort of a town where you can bring offers, a catholic "thing", burn a candle somewhere they say the virgin Mary has appeared in the past. we call it " bedevaartsoord" , anyone who knows how to say it in English HELP!!!

Xanten is a medieval little town, with a cathedrale and lots of old houses. we did a small tour around the town so we saw the most important things. It was really beautiful and if i had been feeling better the pics would have been much better too.

we decided to take a few days of, book a hotel near Zutphen to go and visit my mother in law and have some holiday feeling ( it is spring-break here) all in once. We wanted to go abroad for " the real feeling of being away" .
we went to Rheinresidenz Wesel just across the border in Germany, near big cities like Dusseldorf, Koln.
