Booker's observant, so he knows Kal's been enjoying the slower stuff more, and keys in some Five For Fighting - "One Hundred Years." That oughta get Big Blue off his ass.

What, did you not see me and Jesse burnin' it up on the floor out there? I got Prima, Basie, Ellington, a few other guys you might not a heard of - tell me what you want, I got you covered.

Kal smiles. The music's right, and for some reason he likes the band even though most of the modern stuff he hasn't been into. "I'd love to, Diana."

The two take to the floor, Kal taking lead in a near perfect ballroom stance. They move, and although it takes a couple of seconds, he moves with a grace and ease that few see outside of battle.

It may seem out of place to ballroom dance in the bar but she is well practiced at it from social functions at the Embassy and her grace as a warrior crosses over.

And she's smiling and looking comfortable.

Kal returns the smile. "Feel as out of place as I do?"

She catches the faintest hint...Atlantean Ale?

"Incredibly so." she laughs. "And they even managed to convince me to drink wine, it is a novel night."

"Yes, that is." she starts to lead him towards the bar for a soda. "And he was not kidding about washing the dishes either."

"Oh, I know that, Princess," Kip chuckles as he walks beside her, hand lightly on her arm. "It's still...he's just kind of special to me. How come you've been working so hard?"

"Batman was injured badly and I have been helping to treat his injuries. I was told to come and enjoy myself as he is stable now but still..." she shakes off the mood.

"Cake did not do your face justice by the way."

He drinks some of the cola as he listens to Diana speak. "I'd wondered why we hadn't...I mean, some of the information...heck, I'm not sure I'm supposed to know he exists. Cake didn't do my face justice?"
