I am thinking about getting a wig for my Wonder Woman costume. I really don't like teasing my hair and I think it would take alot of pressure off just to have a wig and put it on for her. On Saturday I drove up to Greensboro, NC to take part in a Symphony dedicated to John Williams. I was asked to come as Hermione so I doned my school uniform and took the stage. I sewed. It felt very good to get something accomplished, but it will feel even better to have the costume completed. When I came home this weekend my dad surprised me with a fake ax he had found up at his work. It's not perfect and needs some modification, like being cut down, but I think it looks awesome. I'm very happy with it.

For a project in my photo class we had to photoshop different elements together to create a fantasy world. So I took advantage of my new costume and decided to make a photo based off of Beauty and the Beast. Every element in this picture was taken seperately and then put in together. Yes! I did it! I finally finished this dress. Well, it's not 100% more like 99.9999%. We're going to redo the hem and the shirt still needs buttons and I need to find a better book, but other than that this dress is finished.

Spring Break really hasn't been all that fun. Aside from the Biltmore trip, which was a blast, I spent SB going to the doctor and sick. I wasn't able to go to StellarCon and my Belle costume suffered too.

On Tuesday my family and I went to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. It's the largest house in America with 250 rooms. It's incrediably beautiful and the perfect place to take Harry Potter pictures because the Estate has a strong resemblence to Hogwarts.
