On Saturday I drove up to Greensboro, NC to take part in a Symphony dedicated to John Williams. I was asked to come as Hermione so I doned my school uniform and took the stage. There was some discussion within our Garrison about the large amount of requests we were getting for Birthday parties. Some kids were cancer victums wanting us to come, others just wanted Stormtroopers at their party so they could have something cool there. The problem was we didn't want to become like Clowns. I haven't done anything with the 501st in a while so this was a really fun event. It almost didn't happen for me though. Here's the thing about me. Every time I think I've gotten my costume figured out something else happens to mess up my plans. I'm going to be in a parade this Saturday. On Saturday I did my first Toys for Tots event. It was so much fun! On Saturday I attended a convention, my first since C4. It was soooo much fun. I am in the middle of midterms and it was so great to get out and just have fun. It helped take away the stress of school. :)

Charlotte SHOUT! is kind of like a convention. It's held at Johnson and Wales and features celebrity chefs who do live cooking demonstrations on stage. One of the chefs is a HUGE Star Wars fan and he contacted us and asked us to appear onstage with him to help him. So we did! I wasn't sure about this event but I went now I'm really glad I did.
