I'm a little shaken right now. I was at a pizza place for dinner when a Muslim guy (who apparently had a knife) comes in complaining (very loudly and obscenely) that they put pork on his pizza. The owner called the cops on him, but it took a little while for them to actually pay attention to the complaint. Luckily, no one was hurt. -
Books!
After Japanese class today, Christa and I stopped at B&N. The stop nearly took an hour, and I spent almost all of my gift cards. I got the King Arthur Flour Baker's and Cookie Companions, the second Alton Brown cookbook (which is about baking), The Wealth of Nations, and a Meg Cabot novel. Well, I hit it off with a guy I (re-)met at Jen's graduation party. We had a blast together and ended up exchanging numbers with the intention of hanging out sometime. He called me up on Sunday, and in the process of planning to meet up again he asked me out.
We went out on Monday, and he called me back today. We're going out again on Thursday. -

I am officially 18 years old right now. I'll really be 18 in about three hours, but I'm still a legal adult as of this minute.
