Now that things are quieting down, a major summary of the past several days:
1) I have adorable baby cousins. I was down in PA this past weekend to see family; Uncle Leonard and Aunt Brenda; Uncle John, Bernie and Kekoa (age 1); and my oldest cousin Steve, his wife Kim, and their two children, Ian (age 5), and Jillian (age 2) were there. Steve and his family are some serious rednecks (Ian has the start of a mullet). Uncle Leonard is a biology teacher in Kansas. Jillian and I bonded over bubbles. I had fun.

2) Cotillion was a blast. Everyone looked wonderful. Pictures later.
3) My speech went well tonight. I did a graduation cliche Mad lib, and I wrote it after school today. I officialy love Brad D. for giving me a million wonderful words. Video later.
Merriam-Webster defines "success" as a "favorable or desired Sean Rose. Looking out over the rest of my class, I believe that we have succeeded. We came into this school as ugly freshmen, unaware of the challenges we would face. But look at us now. We have made it through those fourteen curly years of high school. We all overcame many demons to reach where we are today.
I really believe that we will remember our time at Foran as the spiny days of our lives. We have had juicy times together, and I'm sure we will remember each other for the rest of our friends. So when one of us becomes mayor or discovers the cure for malaria, we will be able to look back and say remember when. But no matter what we do, I am certain that every one of us will skip. I am happy to say that even if we came here strangers, we are leaving here as gumballs.
I would like to leave you all with this thought: this is not an end; this is the underworld of the rest of our lives.
4) I recently figured out that Coldstone plays the same songs over and over. Oh shit.
