after a triumphant performance at GALA, we are back in Sacramento. There was too much good music (and just a little that was disappointing), and we participated in workshops and were audience for some wonderful performances. not going to the event this weekend... just too much hassle, and lousy transportation choices.

I have such mixed feelings. Years ago I started saying that even if it was legal, I cannot afford Sylvia. With recent car problems, this is even more evident. April 18 we (Small Difference Women's Choral Ensemble) will be performing with True Colors at a joint concert, "Peace is Cool Again": a memory of the '60's. There will be some fabulous music, and I hope some of my friends will be there to support us.

I got my new toy. I am so excited! But I sure have some learning to do...

wow, the wrapping paper tornado is almost over. Whew.

And I had a wonderful time with my daughters this year. I am so grateful we are able to give to each other. The love just overwhelms me.
