Gay Marriage Legal
I have such mixed feelings. Years ago I started saying that even if it was legal, I cannot afford Sylvia. With recent car problems, this is even more evident. She would lose ALL of her benefits, and we would be a one income family. There are a lot of "older" couples, heterosexual or homosexual, who have the same dilemma.
If this had been legal fourteen (yes, FOURTEEN) years ago, we would be married now (and I guess a lot more broke...). My family will not cut Sylvia out of my life or my possessions, but it kills me that the decision is about money, not about love, or commitment.
