This summer really flew by, Monday is coming faster than what I would prefer it to especially with the amount of packing to do.

I won't be able to start work again till at least October...which really sucks. Stupid Chicago studio.

This year as been rather peculiar...one unexpected turn after another, and not necessarily all bad, just unexpected.

Hm, so much has happened since I last posted here. I am obviously back in Chicago for school and the semester is actually half over now, which of course means that this weekend was my fall break, and I was home this time last year.. So, since last time....

I'm home for the summer...which is now almost over. 
I'll be all moved-in to my dorm exactly a month from today, which is kinda scary in an exciting sort of way.

SO...In my church kids go through Confirmation when they are in the eighth grade, and today was the actual day they were confirmed. In this group of kids who will be freshmen in highschool next year are kids I used to babysit.

Now I feel old.

Manchester School District schools are cancelled tomorrow due to rain. I find this rather fun, I wish I had a rain day, all I ever got were snow days!

So, as Easter is coming near I'm kind of realizing how much it's going to suck not being home for it..mental note: next year go home ( Read more... )

My essay is pretty much done, I'm all packed, I have my boarding pass printed (twice..just for safe measure), I remembered where I put my license, I found some cash so I don't have to go to the ATM, and I don't have to go to the airport by myself tomorrow. Brilliant ( Read more... )
