Today I woke up an hour late. Off to an amazing start... I raced around, got everyone ready and left the house at 8:35, barely getting the kids to school on time, but getting me to my workshop on time. Quilting class was from 9-3. Day started off very stressful, trying to get kids out the door to dentist appointment on time. We hit every red light. We got there like 12 minutes late, but they took us anyway. Ugh. So, I finally organized myself and got an Etsy shop. I'm happy to announce the opening of Elephant Bird Quilts! At the moment there are only two quilts up there, but I hope to have some more go up in the next couple weeks. Here is the curtain that I dyed with DD1 and that her dad hung the track for. It looks lovely. We are thrilled with the ombre dying and now I can totally understand why people love dying fabric/fiber so much.

OMG, I can't breath. I met the artist who inspired my neuron quilts (latest quilt is previous entry to this and I updated the picture this morning.  I offered him the little quilt and he said he was honored to have it and was going to hang it in his son's room. EEEEEE. EEEEE.

I just started watching Pushing Daisies. I may not emerge for a few days (weeks?). Lee Pace! The women! The PI. This show is so freaking clever and quirky. Waaaa. Why did it only have two seasons?

Also, I hear Almost Human is on the verge of being canceled. Boo fucking hoo. Not happy.
