Back from FilkContinental ...
... and though right now I will not post a report as I hear my bed calling, I still wanted to say: I had a fab time!
Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen, especially kitespirit who had all the work before and could not enjoy the con herself.
I am filled to the brim with impressions, sunshine and lack of sleep. -

A Day at the Zoo
This was quite, quite nice.
I did not spend so much time gazing at the animals but rather relaxing in the sunshine, under the magnificent trees, away from city noises.
And reading a few chapters in a book about Bonsai trees.
I never expected to find them that beautiful and/or that interesting.
The world is full of wonders. -
Walking barefoot in the rain...
... is not what it used to be. At least not in a city. In a city it is icky, sticky, prickly and sort of yuck. Still beats blisters. Unless there is gravel.
