After my not epic but entertaining faliure to remove the spots of rust from my bathtub, the known defender of the humiliated, MiracleMan (to others probably known asratz_71  ) came to my rescue.

There is some stuff called "W D 40". It is a spray you can use to loosen screws that have rustet tight, to add a water repellant film to surfaces that would otherwise rust easily, to make things glide more effortlessly (like wheels or drawers - the furniture-related ones, mind you) or to remove rusty spots ( Read more... )
