About puppies

I tried to take a few pics of the puppies today and yesterday.  They're getting so big and they're losing some of that sweet, soft puppy look.  They're still super cute, though!  When I say I tried...  Well, ( see what I mean. )

puppies, percy

oh my they are so cute!!

just FYI, most belly hernias aren't anything major, especially if the vet is just watching it. Most will just tuck it in and sew it closed when she gets spayed. No extra surgery, just have to keep an eye on it until that time.

They are cute! We're having fun going out and walking them. We were out for over an hour tonight. Madeline is the most stubborn about her leash!

He didn't mention that it could be done with a spay. Can we do it at four months? My only knowledge of hernias are from when Ethan had them as a baby and had to have surgery. :D
Yesterday, one side was really bulging and the other looked almost normal. I know they go in and out a bit and look worse at times than others.

I got Ruby spayed at 4 months. Where is the hernia? Right by the umbilicus? If it's in that area, they usually make the spay line a little longer to include the hernia hole, tuck things back in and stitch it up. If it's some place else, it might require a little more work but easily fixed while she's already under to be spayed.

I like Sturdy the best. He seems like such a little devil! I'll admire him from afar, though, thanks very much. Been there, done that. :) Are you going to keep him?

Sturdy is Ethan's (he named him, too), so definitely keeping. ;D He's actually the calmest of the three!

Look at that little Molly face! So cute.

We're definitely keeping Madeline, too. We will be willing to give Sophia away after we know her hernia(s) is/are well if a good family wanted her. We're willing to keep her, too. What's one more, right? ;D

Yes, their paws are gianormous! I'm wondering just how large they'll be. I had guessed maybe 65-70ish lbs, but geez they're getting there quickly!
