Having to go in to Tropel this morning was one of the hardest things I've had to do in awhile. It was so emotionally painful to see my former job and everyone I worked with again and to know that this would likely be the last time. Bleh...went to bed a little over an hour ago and had alot of trouble getting to sleep..in fact I think I laid there wide awake for at least 25 minutes. Quick entry: so I started my new job today, I went through orientation and then found out I'd be working in testing and QC. I spent today shadowing Arkell and Paul and learned alot about interferometers and testing and the like. I'm sitting here doing a bit of last minute packing, making sure I've got everything ready for my big trip tommorow~ Looking like its going to be a lot of fun, we've made a few plans and a few more tentative ones. I'm sure at the end of the week I'll have my usual great-big write-up of events, so you can look forward to that.

So, I forgot one major thing in my last update, my girlfriend is wonderful and amazing and had a very special thing commissioned for me!
