So I've decided to let you guys know that I'm in France where jaywalking is the norm. In fact, I don't even think it's illegal here...
Soon, however, I shall be back in England and fighting for our cause! I still believe! *pumps fist into air* -
Heavy Traffic
A few days back, I saw a jaywalking comrade.
A woman was crossing four lanes of heavy traffic, while talking on her cell phone. -
I'm thinking of you guys and your brave crusade :)
Where I live there's a bus every half hour thisaway round the circular route and one bus every half hour thataway round he route the other way. When they arrive is, however, random.So I stand at the bustop where I can't see the bus coming because of a corner, and look down the straight part of the road for buses coming the other way ( Read more... ) -

As a British person, who's wondered for years what 'jaywalking' is (we don't use the word here in the UK) could you use this comM to enlighten me? My Year 5 (Sixth grade) teacher told me it meant walking diagonally across the road. Is that right? -
