Past Sins
I spent today working on my old car's many problems.
I left it parked under a tree for a long time back before I knew better (park in the shade, right?). Water dripped onto a single spot, which rusted. A hole formed. So, the reason for the long silence... (it's not going to be a surprise)... it was a girl.
I don't like to think of Anne as just "a girl". We are still good friends.
But the fact that I have kept silent for so long is a good indicator of how much it took out of me.

Writer's Block: Place of Residence
I've always wanted to just fly around in a giant zeppelin (even before I started reading Girl Genius). Wouldn't it be nice to not have to worry about driving a car, paying property taxes, living in a bad neighborhood, etc.? Need groceries? Fly to the store, drop a rope, go in and buy it, and have somebody haul you back up. Don't like where you live ( Read more... ) -

Just When I Thought It Couldn't Get Any Worse...
...my utter hatred of labs was intensified by the inanity of my very first Fluid Earth 1 lab assignment. This thing may be worse than anything I did in Structure. At least I knew what I was supposed to be doing in there. This... just doesn't make sense. And the parts that do make some kind of sense are tedious as anything. I want to continue ( Read more... )
