Today was a great day to be alive. For the first time since school started, I didn't wake up thinking "I want to DIE." I actually opened my eyes, smiled, and thought, "Thank you, Lord, for another beautiful day." Last night was the Sigma Chi Freak Fest party. Patty came in town and we spent about an hour cutting up an Indian costume because it wasn't slutty enough. Mission accomplished. I wasn't as creative. We had our second meet yesterday. That's right: it's October, and we've only had 2 races. Silly NAIA. It was such a relief to finally run a decent race. 19 is going to be a great year. Yesterday was super.
