ahhhh, i really need to sink into a brand new life. i don't want to miss what i can't have.  i want to be where i am doing what i am doing. i need to change my outlook. i need relax. i've only been here three days. it's only been two weeks. i can do this. every day is a step forward. i can do this.

well, i'm back from the summer job and off to the next 5, 6 years of my life, the home base of operations, the big shebang. i'm excited, i'm scared, i'm numb. i don't think everything has really sunk in it yet. probably won't until i'm a few months into it with grant deadlines and papers hanging over my head ( Read more... )
