((ooc: Intending to be not spoilerific.))

Amber had somehow wound up back in her own world for some strange reason. This was actually good news, somewhat, but she had appeared without Amagiri, who had arrived to the Nexus world with her. He was her protector, and her loyal companion. If danger lurked, he was usually there to help her get out, without having to freeze time to escape ( ... )

Hiro was still freaked out about everything that was happening at this point. His power wasn't working, well... actually. He teleported in and out around the rooftop. Eventually he noticed that he was being watched. He looked at the girl carefully and silently took a hold of the hilt of his katana.

When he came a little closer, he noticed she was just a young girl. Even then, he didn't trust whoever she was. "Who are you?" He went right to the point. He wasn't much for the whole runaround, specially when he was stuck in some reality he did not recognize.

Of course, he had also noticed how relaxed she seemed just munching on an apple. Hiro glared a bit at that. Did not appreciate it either. He was anxious, he needed to leave this damn place and he couldn't.

How strange, and curious! This man could teleport, but without the harmless side effects of his body glowing, and his eyes shining red--like Amber and all the other Contractors did whenever they used their powers. Also, unlike a woman she knew, he could teleport and stay in his own clothes.

Amber had known many people with different abilities, including her friend and comrade who could teleport. She was someone of the EPR she hadn't seen or heard from for so long.

He seemed to be both frustrated and worried. Did his powers not work properly?

Why was I sent back here? Does the Nexus know about this guy? This wouldn't just happen without any reason...When the katana man glared at her, she showed him a faint calm smile and stayed right where she was. There wasn't even the slightest fear or shock in her amber colored gaze. Perhaps if she stayed put and answered straight to the point, it would lessen the chances of him having the motive to attack her. Thinking rationally without involving morals or emotions was second nature for Amber ( ... )

Hiro found himself letting go of the hilt of the katana slowly. The girl didn't seem like she was about to attack, at least not yet. In any case he'd teleport out of her way, and or try stopping time if she did try to attack him by surprise. "Amber." He just repeated the name, as if trying to remember someone by that name that he might have met on one of his other misadventures. No... No one he knew ( ... )

Hiro was indeed about to unsheathe his Katana, but Amber looked like she could hold off whoever that guy was. Dean? .... She knew him? This was.... Hiro really thought things were going to be less insane, and then this crazy guy with the gun shows up. He sighed inwardly and was still on guard, just in case Dean decided to fire any shots.

Hiro was really hoping things wouldn't get so messy. Amber seemed to have things under control. He was quiet as he listened to her try to knock some sense into the guy. He did seem like he needed to leave urgently. It made Hiro wonder what kind of crazy crap he'd left behind in his reality. All that Hiro had been doing was running away from the government.

It wasn't like going back was urgent. He stood quietly watching every reaction the man that had just shown up was having. He seemed to be so emotional about everything.

All traces of Amber's smiles had dissipated because of Dean's frustration. She glanced to Hiro and felt just the slightest relief that he listened. It was going to be difficult enough with Dean who had no recollections of him having ever met her ( ... )

As soon as they were ready they boarded the train and quietly Hiro led them to the back where they could maybe sit and talk about this a little better. He waited for Amber to take her seat, and then nodded at Dean, almost sitting down at the same time as he did. Both of them on each side of Amber. Hiro to her right, and Dean to her left.

"I honestly have never been in a reality like this one. Maybe I am lying, in my reality this was the norm. People like me were always on the run. I was being persecuted before I ended up here as a matter of fact. However, I have no idea what to expect. You spoke of two organizations that would have a reason to persecute you, but you're not sure if they're really the ones causing this?" He was trying to make sense of this, still.

Amber herself had been pulled from another reality, and apparently she knew this one, but not as well as they thought she did. She had no idea who was behind it all. What was their ultimate plan? What did they want from them?

Hey, curious. Did you ever get to watch anymore Darker Than Black episodes? reversal_seer August 25 2012, 23:12:06 UTC
[[Just making sure to avoid to be spoilerific if ya haven't. ^^ HEHE btw I'm going to be just a bit evil to poor Amber.]]

Amber sent Dean a quiet, calm, and patient thank you through her eyes before boarding the train. She felt she understood fairly well about how irritated Dean was, especially over his brother, and that he was very protective over him. She also took the hint from his restrained frustration that he was not up to talking about him. What was Sam going through, she wondered, but stopped her thoughts from truly dwelling on the matter.

Some part of her felt exposed without wearing a disguise. She came back to her home world unprepared, but it still felt a little strange to not have a jacket and hat over her pink jumpsuit to help make her less recognizable around Contractors she wasn’t affiliated with because in this world she was certain she was still known as a traitor, and a terrorist ( ... )

For once, he agreed with Dean, here. It was best to focus and keep themselves away from whatever was after them, or whatever was about to come after them. It was still iffy, this whole thing/situation. Even Amber who seemed to know all the answers was confused by what was happening, and that was never good. To have the only person who knew what was remotely happening freaking out, was not good, ever. Hiro didn't tell Amber to calm down, but he did see it in the way she was behaving ( ... )

Hiro had no idea what was going on. He hadn't started this time bubble, as a matter of fact he was hoping Amber had been the one behind it. He figured Dean hadn't been affected because he'd just touched him, or... This was strange. Eventually, though, Dean stopped moving. Hiro had just seen him moving, what? Even then, he remained unaffected by whatever power was being thrown at him ( ... )

((ooc: So far so good here! And I think we're going in the right direction. Kickin' this guy's butt and Amber succeeding to take the guys to the EPR safehouse. ^.^))

Amber had tensed as she heard the Contractor speak to her. The Syndicate. They had caught up to her, and they were going to kill her. Then take Hiro. What? How did they get intel about Hiro so fast?! And what ( ... )

Things were unfolding fast, and Hiro had only seconds at his disposal to try and save his 'friends'. Not that he was Amber and Dean's best friend. At this point, he hardly knew either. He just knew he was stuck in the same reality with both of them and at least one of them knew what was going on ( ... )
