Sybil Ramkin was a Good Girl. She was kind and conscientious and exceedingly well bred. She was also a hell of a lot smarter than anyone gave her credit for and was good at basically anything she attempted, except sewing, but that was nonsense, anyway. The ball had been lovely. Sybil couldn't have been happier to watch the coaches go. She walked from the ball room where the servants where cleaning up to the smaller dining room, collapsing into the window seat that looked over the side of the house. Sybil hadn't done much entertaining that was not a large party or female or both. Usually, both. Nor had she ever taken it upon herself to cook unsupervised, before, though it seemed silly to think she wouldn't be able to.
