I've been hearing about Hulu, the online TV show service owned by NBC, but didn't try it until a day ago where I watched all the episodes of the latest season of 24 on the site. Another Doggone Encounter
I was freaked out by a dog again today as I left the apartment. I was expecting the regular two dogs my landlady had. The problematic one had gotten used to me now and once I actually managed to get in the gate without it barking even though I had forgotten the dog biscuit. Alone again
It feels weird to be alone again in my apartment. Once I start work I will no doubt fall back into my old routine, though it will see some improvements based on insights and inspirations from the past 10 days. Those were wonderful days... -
Goodbyes
Time to say goodbye to nakaemi. I wish it had been longer, and that I wasn't sick during this time, but I'm glad we still had fun. I will have many good memories of this vacation. I will miss nakaemi, but as Michiru said to Minagi in AIR, "say goodbye with a smile". At least this is a temporary "goodbye", not a permanent one like in AIR. Happenings
Had an interesting meeting with nyankoframe, his sister, and another guy from IRC last night. I thought of meeting at a nearby cafe, but it seems that it was closed early. We then tried a few Starbucks locations, but it seemed like they were closed too. Oh noes. Sick
It's confirmed. I have a fever. :( On Monday or so the early warning was a slight feeling of chillyness in my usually okay apartment temperature. Everything was ok then I started getting a sore throat on Wednesday. Went to the urgent care clinic to check on my increasing sore throat yesterday, only to be told that I was fine except for probable ( Read more... ) -

It's only been, like, 6 days, since the new year started, and already my New Year wish has been shattered. I came back home (and pre-warned by my landlady) to utter darkness.
