Oh goodness.
I seem to have started porting the characters from A:TLA into The Avengers movie. It's... surprising how easily it's falling together, considering that they aren't direct ports, but my new subtitle for the series may become "Loki's Cautionary Tale." -
Apropos of nothing.
When I was seven or eight, I was mildly afraid of the word "wicked," which in Massachusetts was moderately inescapable.

I just read an elaborate theory in which all of Neon Genesis Evangelion (and connected canon materials) was brought about and also led by the interaction of 4chan, Scientology, and Anonymous. I am both profoundly baffled and impressed.

I keep forgetting this, but I swear, every time my feet get cold, I am sleepy within MINUTES. Am I the only one with this problem? And why do I never recall this connection and use my significant collection of socks to rectify it?

There's something so satisfying about ironing silk. Not only is it instant gratification on the right heat setting- the wrinkles just disappear!- but the sensuality of the fabric is magnified by the sense that you're turning something that's beautifully rumpled and shoddy into something that just looks perfect. Am I the only person who is now actively avoiding any coverage of the upcoming Royal Wedding (TM)? It's not just boring, it feels invasive and tacky to have all of this stuff scrutinized in such minute, constant detail.
