There's something so satisfying about ironing silk. Not only is it instant gratification on the right heat setting- the wrinkles just disappear!- but the sensuality of the fabric is magnified by the sense that you're turning something that's beautifully rumpled and shoddy into something that just looks perfect. Not an easy thing to do in most cases
