Hum dee, scrambling to catch back up with my life after letting myself rest a little for the past two days. I am VERY exciting, I know. School pre-registration stuff and making sure my car insurance is squared away are the orders of business today! (Damn well had better be, since the insurance company cashed my check.)

I half-woke early this morning with what felt like a really good drabble-length bit of writing in my head and tried to type it into my phone so that I'd remember it when I was actually awake. Now I've completely forgotten all the parts I was trying to remember, and the bits in my phone are are only partly legible. Isn't that always the way?
