I've seen a lot of people talk about how the incident with the prison made them disgusted, and that's about where I stand, too. It wouldn't be a good idea to turn out backs on what the deities did, and it wouldn't be a good idea to forget what was wrong about it. Of course, we can't just try and take down the deities. That wouldn't do us any good, ( Read more... )

It sounds like you've practically got a new system worked out!

I don't have anything worked out yet. I just want to know what people would like.

You could come up with one.

I'd like to see what people have to say. Someone ought to have something in mind.

So what are you proposing, then?

You should know, perhaps, that there were vague stirrings of rebellion against the 'deities' some months ago.

What if this is meant to motivate someone to take action?

I don't know that I'd be very good in a position like that myself.

It isn't going to be me, if you intend to motivate anyone.

In a position such as warden, you mean?

Or whatever they started to turn the warden position into. I wouldn't say that a prison guard typically aims to create laws.

Well, considering, no one should except you to.

I'd like to keep up with things regarding you, Eden.

I've always thought that a position created by the deities was something the city should choose to ignore, and instead sanction our own. Even if it's similar to the same thing... it would be another step taken to avoid following the deities will.

But it might be that the deities make even a sanctioned position hard to come by. I think they were probably grasping for straws.

I'm not really sure. Following their thought process is just too difficult for me. Especially after their display with the prison.

Even if I don't think that people in charge have that confusing of thoughts, I'll have to agree with you there. I'd still like to know people's theories.

It would be nice to see- if people could come together and work for something like that.

It might not be bad. Though I don't doubt that vigilantism will happen, it might be better to have something a little more official, too.

Mm... it would definitly be a lot of work. All these different people, from different worlds, with different laws...

But if we could at least come up with some basics, it would be a start.

Different ideas of what's right and wrong. We'd have to throw away the idea of utilitarianism, even if that was already well and ancient by our time. What is the greater good here? We have vampires and werewolves, teenagers without any powers, and individuals who can pilot robots. And of course, we have people like you and Setsuna, too. You're a little different from something out of some storybook.

It'd take a lot of polling, and there are thousands of people here, some of which never seem to use their devices like the rest of us. It might take time.
