I actually have the flu.  It's been years since I got it, but I hope a year and a half of daily exercise, treating my body well, not smoking, and trying to live more healthily will help.

Otherwise, this really sucks.

1. I finally got food stamps! I've been granted $426 in back payments and will receive $200 a month from then on. That will really cut down on expenses, since most of what I spend on a daily basis is groceries. Thanks be to the DC Hunger advocacy group and in particular a woman about my age who used her connections to get the matter finally ( Read more... )

The sun is setting on what has been a cold December day. Elisabeth is sick, but managing fairly well.
