I was reminded last night, now that Lost Highway is finally (finally, FINALLY!!!) out on DVD, yet again of just how brilliant Lynch's work is. Passion

Once again, I'm quite impressed. Not Sondheim's best work, but it's still very rich and highly recommended. What starts out as a seemingly simple and cliche musical (or operatic) plot, slowly turns into a surprisingly complex and rewarding meditation on the varying natures of what we think of as love.

I can't believe I didn't know Brent Spiner used to be on Broadway. I was watching the Sunday in the Park With George DVD today, and there he was!
