Well I was saved from that campaign job, at least for a career, since I just obtained my dream AmeriCorps position in Chicago with City Year. I will be working with children in the city, tutoring, taking them to museums and doing community service projects. Glorious! I spent the weekend up in Chicago for Pride. House parties, random boys on the street and a parade to end the weekend off. I tell you, it was a much needed break.
