Rargh. This week has been fairly rough, as far as life here gets anyway. Last Monday, I hurt myself on a little morning PT run. I went to get it checked out like everyone (myself included) thought was a good idea. The doctor put me on a profile, which is the army's way of making sure you don't get hurt. After a couple weeks of being offline due to technical issues, I've finally managed to restore my connection to the outside world. The intartubes seem to have missed me, because they welcomed me back with the The Leningrad Cowboys. Completely unbidden, and totally welcomed.

For the last few years I've worked as an armored courier. This is a a job I can not recommend strongly enough that no thinking human should have to do. It's the highest paying job I've ever had, the highest paying job I'm likely ever to have, and it was killing me. Hey there. I could post some big thing about how I'm back or whatever, but I'm gonna keep this short. I've been working as an armored courier for the last couple of years and it takes up pretty much all of my time. Or at least it would if I didn't feel I could sacrifice my sack time. ugh. First day on new, for-real job. I said I wanted a job that was more active, and damned if I didn't get one. I got up at 3:30am. I finished up work at 2:30pm. No overtime though, totally different system ( Read more... )
