One month in Afghanistan. All told, not terrible yet. I’m at FOB shank now. Living conditions are far better than what I was expecting. We are living in a cluster of Alaska tents surrounded by 6’ T-barriers. • I have just now found out that my ortho doc, the one I had so much trouble contacting, PCSed in May. Explains a lot. Now to find a new doc.
