One month in Afghanistan. All told, not terrible yet. I’m at FOB shank now. Living conditions are far better than what I was expecting. We are living in a cluster of Alaska tents surrounded by 6’ T-barriers. I'm assuming the address you posted back when is where we can send stuff? I know I'm taking my sweet time, but I'm distracted like that. I'm guessing you'll be there a while.

Being able to drop off to sleep anywhere and any time is a gift without price!

Love you too, Josh. Thinking about you everyday and sending good mojo. Sleep well when you can and keep maintaining. Hope you get to do some cool stuff in surgery! Occasionally I get to help out on stuff at the veterinary hospital and it is so fascinating to watch a skilled surgeon work.
