75 ... Free Willy (dvd) ... this family favorite was good, but too predictable. I did like the theme of whales and their brief notation of their fins bending in captivity for a yet unknown reason. And that no whales were harmed in the making of the film. 6/10

64 ... Corpse Bride ... ((saw 2 1/2 times)) I loved this film... I've raved about it way before its release, and it did exceed my expectations. Specifically I appreciate how "Up There" is grey and dreadful and the dead are lively with full color. The Butterflies are a very pretty touch. And the spiders aren't creepy but cool & motherly. 60...Fargo ...(dvd) When a small city police chief sleuths a murder case, she stumbles upon plenty of clues, and one clue takes her out of state. Her focus and almost rigid attitude brings her additional clues which she follows as well.
