It's about damned time

The NHL is back. Finally. After a 301-day lockout, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association have tentatively agreed to a 6-year collective bargaining agreement (pending ratification by the players and the league's board of governors).

Oh, Kiyo....I can't help but laugh when I see you referring to Scottie as your husband :) I'm happy you will have your hockey again! It just didn't seem right NOT to hear the hockey updates every time you were around! Glad to know we will be getting full reports again!

Happy Birthday Kiyo!!! We're getting up there in years, but you first :)

Happy Birthday Kiyo! As always, your journal has taught me more than I ever knew about hockey AND made me laugh out loud right here in my crappy little cubicle. If my coworkers knew the hilarity of what I was reading, they'd roll their matching office chairs over and join in. I plan on quoting your mantra as I travel through Canada in a few months, and each postcard I send you will have at least one misspelled or mispronounced Canadian word in it (i.e. "The syrup was a gold brown colour." or "I spilled syrup on my new plaid flannel lumberjack shirt! What's that all aboot?")

I hope you have a fab birthday. Enjoy the awesome weather and say hi to the fam for me!

Love, kourt

p.s. Please mention the likes of Katie Horning in all future entries. There's nothing funnier than a Katie Horning reference!

p.p.s. Just for the record, your mom is totally justified in rooting against anything Floridian due to the Republican Situation.

I love this goal, though, because I contend to this day (and have contended unwaveringly since that first replay) that Brett Hull's goal was good.

As a die-hard Stars fan who stayed at a local bar past closing time to watch the end of this game, I must say you are sooo flisted now. :)

haha, sweet. I bet you Stars fans get tired of people saying how they shouldn't have won.
