The NHL is back. Finally. After a 301-day lockout, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association have tentatively agreed to a 6-year collective bargaining agreement (pending ratification by the players and the league's board of governors).

I guess the NHL lockout will be ending soon because there's been some hirings/firings this past week. The Mighty Ducks hired a new GM and the Blackhawks fired their coach. I watched a tiny wee bit of that new VH1 "I Love the 90's" thingie last night, and it just happened to be 1994 and they just happened to be showing clips from one of the most pivotal moments of my life--the New York Rangers winning the Stanley Cup.
