It’s been a while since I asked a parking meter for directions or tried to carry on a conversation with a lamp post, mistaking them for people. Yet these things happen to me on what seems to be a regular basis. Everything I see is an illusion. It is, all of it, there but also not there. Aww, that's very sweet of you to say.

The time of week that voting is done has changed so it's confusing. You can vote now.

Thank you for sharing what it is like for you. I really never imagined what it must be like...

It's funny, because, as I read this, I thought that it would be easier just not to see anything at all. I can't make sense of color either, but that's because I just don't see it. I don't mistake boots for cats or napkins for food. I may, however, speak to the empty air, thinking someone is present when they're not. Hmmmm. That's funny. Most totally blind people I try to explain this to still say I'm lucky to see anything at all. I think in some ways not seeing is easier, and in some ways not.

I've definitely talked to an empty room. I hate that.

I thought you were writing about Alice in Wonderland syndrome for a minute there. ^^ I like the take on the topic. The mirage being inside yourself.

Glad you're in the no-depth perception club, too. Mine is horrible. Still there, but really bad.
