It's a mouse, that you control with your foot!
Is it wrong to think that that is awesome? Seriously though, I could see it working well side-to-side, but it seems like up and down might pose a little bit of a problem. Probably best to wait for the second generation technology ;-). -

Backup Solutions
Like others before me, I too would like to mend my ways and setup a real backup solution. For this purpose, I've requisitioned a NAS that will soon have RAID-5. Now, I just need a way of getting the data from my computer to it.
Things I'd like:- Backup the whole hard drive (perhaps with folder exclusion), ideally also the windows registry and ( Read more... )

Clingy Words
I've known for a while about the word "trove", which seems inextricably tied to treasure. I mean, what other type of trove is there? Virtual Wiiality
This guy implements fairly believable virtual reality with a WiiRemote. It's still technically 2D, but looks awesome. If this proof of concept was actually expanded upon and done well, the world might see me buy my first video game console ever.
Also, "procrastineering" is an awesome word. -
A lesson on overthinking
I recently came across a random text file that I had written earlier in the year. After a little inspection, it appears to contain two things: 1) The pseudo-code for two very different ways of determining which 3 numbers in a list (confusingly referred to as "string") sum to 0, and 2) A poignant lesson on the dangers of unnecessary complication.

kid: toddles up and gazes in wonder at the candy set before him
