[ Geir is sitting on the couch, watching one of the tropical fish he brought back from Ace's seaventures and carving a sigil into a stone as Elijah makes his post. When the other man is done, he doesn't look up, though he does speak. ]

[Elijah leans back in his chair, away from the table where he'd set the PORTAL to record, and turns to Geir with a quirked eyebrow.]

What do you mean by that?

[ He nods his head toward the place a dark black book once sat. ]

Ah... [It takes him a moment to get what he means-in recent weeks, neither the book nor its owner have even crossed his mind-but when he does, he smiles.]

We have something kinda like that! Where I'm from, we have Pokemon, which are.. like, creatures with special powers! We catch them and live among them, like friends. They help us and we help them.

... Well, most people at least. Some people are really mean to them.

[She's not even going to wait for an answer. She sets the PORTAL down and adjusts it to where Elijah can see her and pulls a Pokeball out from her bag, then releases what was inside: her kirlia.]

This is Diva, she's a Kirlia! And a psychic type. [Diva waves excitedly!] So, um.. Diva, use Magical Leaf on that lamp post! [And, sooner than you know it, multi colored leaves shoot out from Diva's body, and go flying to the lamp post. After they hit, they break apart into tiny pieces and disappear.] That was a grass type attack!

[There's a fundamental flaw to your question, buddy, since the dominant species on his planet is probably fey by your definition. A troll with horns out to here peers at you through the screen, utterly confused.]

Uh... how do we know what kinds of, uh, critters you mean? There are stories about, uhhhh, rainbow drinkers. But I don't know if they're real.
