He'll make us remove them eventually.

Curiosity.

Yes.

The idiot took my warmer clothes, yet at the same time expects me to march over there in the cold to retrieve them.

It's removed surgically, usually just through a cut placed on the skin. Though, most people haven't been able to get their chips removed because depending on when you came, the location of it might be different than what we know. The doctors that can do chip removals have been trying to figure out the extra location for a while, but, we haven't found anything yet.

After it's removed, you get sick for a day or two, maybe longer. After that, if you have any powers or abilities that you weren't able to use when you had your chip in, you'll have problems controlling them. If you think that it'll be dangerous to be like that, we built a safehouse for people to stay in so no one else in the city gets hurt and nothing gets damaged, but of course it's also for the safety of the person themselves that got their chip removed. I think, about a week or two is when you should be back to normal.

I arrived in early January, so... it sounds like they wouldn't know where it is. Which is fine by me.

So, essentially, a normal person without any powers removing their chip is a waste of time, right?

I've been here since July, and I can't get my chip removed either, even though I'm a doctor and I can remove it myself. I tried looking before but I guess, I'm not very good at it.

[Totally not mentioning that he actually removed it once, but then died of infection, so he's still somewhat hesitant to try and remove it again. Even if he really wants to annoying thing gone so he can help the city and his crewmates more.]

...not really, no.

Did anyone ever tell you what happened here in October?

Mm, I guess if you just poked around enough you could find it... But it's probably too small to see very well with the naked eye.

No, they didn't....

He still hasn't returned your clothes to you?

He hasn't. I get the feeling he gave them to someone else to hide in case he caved.

I doubt that's the case. He's probably just working on his shop.

His shop is pretty far away and it's still below freezing outside, isn't it? Without warmer clothes, how does he even expect me to safely walk there, let alone retrieve my things.

I have some extra warm clothes you can have until Aaya returns your things, if you'd like Yuki-kun.

[ So suspicious. ]

And what would I have to do in return?

Nothing. I just think you should take them before you freeze.

[After all, he knew what Ayame was going to do.]

[...Let Yuki find that out and see what happens, Shigure.]

...That's awfully considerate of you.

Then, you're sure you're warm enough?

Hmm? Why are you curious?

Having something foreign inside of me is a little unsettling.

I can imagine. Still, things are a bit dangerous at the moment...
