Lemon Merengue pie was a success. I think I've discovered my new go-to way to make pie crust via the food processor. No more falling apart crusts! No more gooey hands! I have two dozen mead cupcakes cooling in my kitchen. I'm doing a test run to see if these will fly for the company Family Fun Day bake-off. Instead of a rum cake, I'm substituting mead. Having a busy Sunday morning/afternoon. Woke up early, had breakfast (note to self: putting instant oatmeal for 2 mins. in the microwave is about 30 seconds too long. Hat #3 has been finished. It's a seed stitch pattern, and I can tell where I messed up a couple of stitches before getting back on the pattern, but it really isn't noticable.
