I've been living in Carleton Place for over a month now. After celebrating Christmas and New Years with my new "family", things have calmed down in terms of the home sickness! It was when I realized I could make mistakes that I knew I was onto something.

Sometimes the trick is, to focus on an inanimate object so that the negative thoughts go away away away.

So, at the end of the day, something prevails. What was it again?

As the cold air makes himself comfortable in Toronto, and the leaves begin to call it a night and float aimlessly to the ground, I can't help but have a high hope that some sort of 'new life' will come out of all of this.
