This is what you need to know, wow it has been quite a while since I blogged last. So back on track. I am psychologically preparing myself for running a marathon next year. Alright so today my roommate Sherry and her lovely parents graciously brought me back to my home town of Columbus. Once here I squished into a truck with my mom and two sisters and we made the trek down to the South side where we live at. But it was such a great ride and nice to be in the company of family. Last night on the treadmill I did to stints of running for 5 minutes straight. Even though I love to throw my arms back and forth while I am running I took the advice of some broads, also known as my roommates, and decided to not throw them back and forth. Pushing forward...
Wowzas is it ever getting more and more beautiful outside. I mean the trees and grass are springing forth brillant colors of green. Flowers all over are displaying an array of eye popping color. Birds are weaving melodies and baby animals are showing up everywhere. Spring has truly sprung and I find myself changing like the seasons ( Read more... ) -
5 minutes..
Thats how long I ran on the treadmill non-stop last night. I was on the bad boy for bout 30 mins. doing some intervals which is where you walk for a few minutes then run for a few. Usually I only do running intervals of 2 minutes but last night I took it up a notch and did a 5 min. running interval. Granted my legs felt like they may be bout to ( Read more... ) -
