Winter Drives

It was snowing on Saturday morning. I delayed my departure a little, but the snow was wet and not heavy, and the traffic reports weren't highlighting any problems, so I packed the car and headed for Suffolk. The drive was a steady one, not as swift as it might have been in fine weather, but not severely delayed, and I reached my friends' house

There hasn't been much snow here this winter... not that I'm complaining. :)

We've had quite a bit more this winter than last winter, but mostly it hasn't caused trouble. Last really serious snow we had was, I think, in 2010.

Ah. It's been almost 4 years since the last major snowstorm. There were a few decent ones since but nothing too serious. The last few winters were usually just cold and not that snowy.

The last few significant snowfalls here seem to have been in February 2009, December 2009, December 2010, and January 2013.
