Fundie Freakout
The Mormons, Catholics and all their fundie friends are freaking out. The gays are PROTESTING! Who could have predicted that people who had their rights blocked or taken away wouldn't like that. INCONCEIVABLE.

I have been having this fight since the election with straight people (and some gay people) who think that "civil unions" will solve the problem of the inequality of the state not recognizing gay marriages. Even gig whores have feelings
I often refer to myself as a gig slut. I'm not really. I say no to a lot of things that I don't want to do. I'm not really going to do anything for money. Oy! The Guilt!
Okay so I was looking forward to not gigging this weekend. Tomorrow is my birthday and I can't afford to take the day off but as Monday-Tuesday is Rosh Hashanah so having Saturday and Sunday off was going to be a very good thing. Cue the cell phone ringing. Singers are stupid
Okay what I should say is 99.9% of singers are stupid or delusional or crazy or mostly some combo thereof.

Easy come, easy go
It's like a bad flashback to 2004. The jobs are scarce and the companies are flaky. I agreed to a job that required getting to work at 7:30 AM. Yes, I'm that hard up. 7:30-5 means 5-7 hours (depending on how I do lunch) per week which comes in at a lot of extra money.
