Oh wow, this is absolutely horrifying. I love how you kept it so tight to Dean's POV.

Yeah, even for me this is a little on the disturbing side. But I'm not sorry and now it's out there! Bwahaha!

Glad you liked the POV. Afflicted!POVs are just more fun to write than anything else, ever. ;)

I love delirious Dean and the hotel rooms they stay in must be disgusting. I can imagine them waking up with bug bites every day. Ewwwww.

Nicely gorey. The steel wool made me cringe. Poor Dean.

I actually never really thought about the bugs much, but I think I saw a similar throwaway line in a Ssam-centric fic at some point and it must've stuck with me. It makes sense, too. Even semi-decent motels can have bugs, no reason to assume S&D don't run into their share on occasion.

And the steel wool thing is based on something I read on a book jacket by a girl with OCD. So at least one person has actually done this. Aiieee!!!

Glad you enjoyed! Thanks very much!

Your descriptions are so VISCERAL, as always, and lend a very real air of horror to this. I absolutely love the way you’ve written the brotherly relationship too, and Sam when he finds Dean in the bathroom, ahhh. I can just picture their little faaaaces. <3333

I like that it got away from you and became so long, fyi, because I never wanted to end. And I didn't feel like a word was wasted. Anyway, amazing fill!

At one point I had a thesaurus page open to all the synonyms for fungus. It says something about our culture that we have something like 25 words to describe infection and corruption. I had an interesting time trying not to repeat a handful of words over and over again. How many ways are there to say 'sickness?' LET'S USE THEM ALL AHAHAHAAA! *cough*

Hah, glad this endless thing was enjoyable to you. I really wanted it to be comment-fic length, too...alas! But at least some good came out of it, so I'm at peace with it. <3

I was sad that I couldn't find a way to fit the word 'withering' into this. :c

(I wasn't going to post it to the comm, but I'll go ahead and do that then.)

WOW, this was super freaky and awesome. I loved that prompt, I was hoping someone would write it dark and I'm so glad you did!

Heh, I got sorta talked into it. I actually wasn't going to do anything for the meme in question since I don't really do sickness-related stuff. IT WASN'T MY FAULT WAAAH! But I'm glad you enjoyed it, anyway. ;)

There's a more fluffy fill for this prompt as well, over at the meme, but yeah. There was no chance I'd be writing this without something awful in it. Mostly because I made a teeny tiny offhand comment about steel wool and then people were telling me to write it...I felt sorta obligated. ;)

And yeah, something about Daffy and SPN in general. Or maybe they just seem like they'd fit well into a Loony Tunes sorta world. Bobby can be Yosemite Sam...

So glad you enjoyed! Thank you so much!
