Dean gets ghost sickness. Again. Which is embarrassing enough as it is, but on top of it, he's already down with a bad case of the flu.

There are germs everywhere and they're only gonna make him worse. Tylenol? What're you talking about? What if he chokes on the pills, huh? And that cough syrup Sam keeps trying to make him drink? That color's just unnatural. A cold bath? You do know how many people die in bathroom accidents each year, right?

I know I did read something along those lines--someone is in some kind of haze and the grater almost gets a passing mention, hardly worth noticing, except the reader of course can't help but go "aiieee!!". It might've been an actual book though. I dunno.

So after 6x22 Castiel makes good on his promise to cure Sam of his Hell and turns Sam into a cheese grater, which is not subject to life nor death, nor Heaven nor Hell; in effect, a god. Death shows up for the 'I told you so' and uses Sam to grate parmesan onto his Chicago-style.

And Dean has a fever. Sam, being made of metal, burns hot in Dean's presence.

I believe 'point in case' is the appropriate phrasing here, says Castiel.
