I think because it's just so STUPID and easy to fix and I feel like people who do it are just flaunting how much they don't care at all. GRAH!

I could never be a JH English teacher because my head would explode in a shower of confetti the first time I had to grade student essays.

I swear it's getting worse. That and all the unnecessary apostrophes in plurals and just really ridiculous random places. Or should that be "place's"?

We need some sort of educational campaign for this.

Me too. I swear it's the schools. My sister sends the corrected papers my niece and nephew bring home back to the school with the teacher's mistakes corrected. She's very popular. :D
