So today, I set forth at an unpleasantly early hour of the morning (which is to say, not very early), and went forth to do battle with the New York Department of Motor Vehicles! Conveniently located a 15-minute walk from here, next to a convenient subway connection to work-I love where I live now. :-D

I just realized there is something that I would like to do (though not necessarily that I will be able to) in some other state of the Union every remaining weekend before September, except for this coming one. How did this happen??

Given: according to the 80-20 principle, you can get 80% of the way done with a job with only 20% of the effort.
Given: ideally, I would like to be 100% packed by roughly Saturday.
Conclusion: I need to be 80% packed by approximately right this exact minute.
