baking ahead

My bridal shower is on Sunday and I want to bake some brownies for the lovely ladies who are putting it together as a thank you.  The tricky part, however, is that tonight and tomorrow morning are the only opportunities I have to do so.  Would it be okay for me to bake these tonight, wrap them up really well, and give them on Sunday afternoon

If I were you I'd bake them after the shower. If they are putting together a shower, they will probably have access to the leftovers and your brownies might get lost in the shuffle. Send the brownies with the thank you notes.

This is probably a good idea. Also, IMHO, I love brownies like 24 hours after they've been baked.

Bake, wrap really well once cool, and freeze. Put in the refrigerator to thaw 24 hours before you need them "fresh."
